Please note Wednesday is a half day session only. This group is usually for younger children who are not eligible for school the following year.

The routine varies a little depending on what is happening on the day but generally follows the pattern below. Winter and summer routines vary to allow for the weather. We usually start the day outside in summer and start inside in winter. 

Preschool is available from 8:30am – 4:00pm, for full day sessions. However the bulk of the program runs from 9:00am – 3:15pm (full day ) and 9:00am – 12pm (half day). This ties in with the drop off/collection routine for most families and allows extra time for Staff to set up, pack up and Program etc.

8.30 – 9.00	Extended hours – limited supervision, staff set up time
9.00-10.15	Outdoor/Indoor Activities including “Munch and Move” (news groups may be held during this time) This includes a Fruit break at 9.30.
10.15-10.45	Group Time (Including roll, music & movement and preparation for indoor activities)
11.15- 11.45	Lunch (focusing on healthy eating, socialising & sustainability)
11.45-12.30	Indoor/Outdoor Activities (news groups may be held during this time)
12.30-1.00	Group Time (story time and other language & listening activities)
1.30 – 2.00	Afternoon Tea(focusing on healthy eating, socialising & sustainability)
2.00 – 2.45	Quiet Time (small group activities around specific skills may be provided during this part of the day) or Rest Time for children choosing this option
2.45-3.15	Preparation for home time, re-establishing the environment & free play (a third group time may be held during this time)
3.15 – 4.00	Extended hours – limited supervision, staff documentation, prep time etc.
